The history of Cattitude Ragdolls

My name is Roz Lamont and my daughter Joanna and I are life-long cat lovers. After seeing a Ragdoll at our local cat show in Dundee, we fell for this exquisite breed of cat, as many people do, and set off to find out more about them.

We were fortunate enough that our first Ragdoll, Tuftypaws Anastasia, arrived the following year in 1998, and we were guided down the path to becoming a registered breeder with The British Ragdoll Cat Club in 1999. When we decided upon our prefix we thought that 'Cattitude' was most appropriate to represent the charismatic nature of the Ragdolls.

That was the beginning of our very addictive hobby and passion for Ragdolls!

About Cattitude Ragdolls

As we are small registered breeders with both The British Ragdoll Cat Club and the specialist Traditional Ragdoll Cat Society, it is important to us to support the work that these clubs do by promoting Ragdolls on the Scottish show scene. We breed only the traditional Ragdoll colours and patterns which are seal or blue colourpoints, mitteds and bicolours.

Our two boys Jude and Toby both live in luxury heated, insulated and double-glazed housing compartments and each have their own spacious run. Unfortunately, stud boys much prefer their own territory and are perfectly content to have their own homes. Our girls live indoors with us and our neutered Ragdolls.

At Cattitude Ragdolls we have a strict NO OUTCROSSING policy.

Of course we love all our Ragdolls dearly and they are first and foremost our pets!

Bounty is a lovely seal colourpoint female with striking dark points and amazing eye colour. She is very much the boss amongst our feline family and constantly purrs like an engine!

Over the years she has given us chunky kittens with good type and was an excellent mother. When she was five years old we decided to retire her but she still likes to keep a watchful eye over her offspring. From Bounty's first litter we kept Muffin, Todd and Caesar as much adored neutered pets.
